About
How a prayer meeting in a Wallisellen living room became a church family across six Swiss cities.
Our story
It started as a prayer meeting among friends who had recently arrived in the country and wanted somewhere to worship in their own voice. Word spread. Within two years the gathering had outgrown the living room and moved into a hall in Wallisellen, where the Zürich branch still meets today.
As members moved for work and study, new gatherings followed them. Bern was planted in 2018, then Basel, Aarau, Lausanne and Lugano. Each branch is led by its own pastoral team and carries the character of its city, while sharing one teaching, one leadership and one family.
We are charismatic in conviction and practical in expression. We believe the Holy Spirit is active now, and that this shows up in how people are cared for on a Tuesday as much as how they worship on a Sunday.
We would rather wait on God together than run a tighter schedule.
Practical care — housing, paperwork, a meal, a lift — is ministry, not admin.
Our measure is who is growing, teaching and leading, not who is sitting.
